Doors open at 5:45 and a warm welcome is offered to all pupils and friends of the school.  The cost is £3.50 per child - kindly pay at the school office asap.  Pizza and a drink is provided for all children before the show.

Due to the persistent rain forecast today sportsday will be cancelled. We will plan for Monday 3rd July for the next attempt.

08/01/2017   Year 4 Church Service

Year 4 led a fantastic Church Service with the theme of 'Respect'

It finished with a whole class Rap!


15/10/2016   Football Champions

St Andrew's football team continued their unbeaten season winning the Sleaford Schools Tournament with a 1-0 win over Rauceby in the semi finals before beating Heckington 2-0 in the final. They now go onto the County Finals in January 2017

The children had a visit from Mad Science who will be working with the school after half term doing a science club!

03/10/2016   Indian Experience

This term, in Year 3 and 4, our Religious Education topic is the Hindu festival of DiwaliTo help bring this topic to life, we invited Sunita Patel to come into school today.  As part of the Indian Experience the children learnt first hand about the Hindu customs and traditions and what life is like for people living in India.  The children experienced dressing up in Indian clothes, participating in Indian dance and learning about the Hindu festival of lights, Diwali.

The children had a super Sportsday with Waddington House the winners !!



10/07/2016   Bibles

The Bishop of Grimsby led a Collective Worship and presented Bibles to all the Year 1 children. Thank you to the St Andrew's PCC for supporting the purchase of the bibles







10/07/2016   CPR Workshop

Mr Tomlinson from Sleafordian led workshops with Year 5 children on how to carry out basic First Aid and CPR. All the children learnt lots and achieved a certificate of good work.

Presentaion of coins

The Parish Council presented all the children in school with a special celebration coin for the Queen's 90th Birthday. The children were very proud to receive the special coin which they will treasure. Thank you Leasingham Parish Council.



10/06/2016   Picnic in the Park



On Friday night the children of St Andrew's showcased their talents in dance, singing and playing musical instruments. The children played a range of music for all tastes and danced to a mix of styles. It was completed with a rousing medley of songs to celebrate the Queen's birthday including 'Rule Britannia' played by the school orchestra.



10/06/2016   The Queen's Birthday Party !

On the 10th  June we had a very special red, white and blue day to celebrate the Queen's 90th party. The highlight was a whole school tea party!

07/02/2016   Dance Competition

Well done to our Dance Club who came third in the Sleaford Dance Off.

They now go forward to the Lincolnshire Final which will be held in March.
