We are seeking a kind, caring and dedicated individual to take on the role of SENDCo at our lovely school. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children with SEND receive high quality, inclusive education, enabling them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
You will work closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to develop, implement, and monitor SEND provision, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory requirements. You will champion a positive and supportive culture for all pupils, ensuring that every child feels welcome, safe, and valued.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a caring and child centred approach
- has a proven track record in teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting
- can lead the development, implementation and monitoring of SEND provision and policy
- has the ability to work effectively in a team
- is supportive of our school vision and values

MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
7.5hrs per week (38 weeks)
Grade G2.3 - G2.6
£4149.24 - £4214.29pa

Does working as a Midday Supervisor interest you?
We are looking to appoint a happy, reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to work in a team within our friendly primary school for 7.5 hours per week during term time only (38 weeks per annum).
Monday – Friday 11:45 – 1:15
The post involves ensuring an enjoyable, safe and sociable lunchtime for all pupils.
Duties include:
- Setting up lunchtime
- Supervising children eating
- May occasionally be required to serve hot meals
- Cclearing up afterwards and putting tables and chairs away
- Supervising on the playground
- Support and encourage positive play and interactions, in line with the School Behaviour Policy
- Ensure that any incidents are reported to the right person and escalated as required
The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive. The postholder may be required to undertake other duties that may be required from time to time within the general scope of the post. Any such duties should not substantially change the general character of the post. Duties and responsibilities outside of the general scope of this grade of post will be with the consent of the postholder.
Basic health and hygiene training will be given along with safeguarding and first aid training.
