We are looking to appoint a happy, reliable Midday Controller to work in a team within our friendly primary school for 10 hours per week during term time only.

The post involves but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring an enjoyable, safe and sociable lunchtime for all pupils. 
  • The organisation and supervision of all midday supervisory
  • Training of new Midday Supervisory Assistants
  • Undertake administrative duties in connection with the midday break eg maintenance of opening and closing checks, staff attendance, training, and preparing seating plans.
  • Assisting with setting up lunchtime, supervising children eating, may occasionally be required to serve hot meals, clearing up afterwards and putting tables and chairs away and supervising on the playground.

    Basic health and hygiene training will be given along with safeguarding training.

We are seeking a kind, caring and dedicated individual to take on the role of SENDCo at our lovely school. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children with SEND receive high quality, inclusive education, enabling them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

 

You will work closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to develop, implement, and monitor SEND provision, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory requirements. You will champion a positive and supportive culture for all pupils, ensuring that every child feels welcome, safe, and valued.

 We are looking for someone who:

  •  has a caring and child centred approach
  • has a proven track record in teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting
  • can lead the development, implementation and monitoring of SEND provision and policy
  • has the ability to work effectively in a team
  • is supportive of our school vision and values
